Maven Careers is a fictitious non-profit organization helping high school seniors find career paths. As their research analyst, I was tasked with creating an interactive dashboard for seniors to explore wage and employment trends across industries and states.

US Labor Statistics data includes information about industry by state, number of employees, and average annual wages. It was collected between 2017 and 2020. The data contains 1 table with 6 fields and 1917 records in xlsx format.

About the Dashboard
The interactive dashboard allows the students to explore wages by industry, yearly and total wage/employee trends within the last 4 years, and wages/employee numbers by state.
The dashboard uses pre-attentive attributes like size, color, and position to highlight the most important information. This lets the students quickly see the trends over time which can help them make the best possible career decision based on their personal goals.
